Update

On Dresden!

I got home from work not long ago and her eye is totally fine now. :) Last night I wiped the weepy stuff from under her eye away with a tissue, and she was also cleaning it with the back of her paw. I suspect she had dirt or something in there, or walked past something that poked her in the eye.

Happy days, no vet visits just yet! ^__^

My cat keeps squinting one eye, I’ve only noticed in the past few hours so I can’t pinpoint a time. It’s her right eye and it’s all weepy :(
She’s not making any funny noises or seem in pain or anything, but the way she’s squinting that eye makes me think that it’s at least uncomfortable…

I’m really hoping it clears up on its own, I’m working 12 hour shifts the next three days…

Egahd. I’ll leave this here so I know when it started.

When I came home from work today, I discovered Dresden had some fun while I was away. I had left a ball of yarn in my top bedside drawer which was slightly open. She managed to rip off the plastic and unravel a good deal of yarn across my bed. I did go to tell her off but to be honest it was pretty cute and it looked like she had a lot of fun.

I left out two glasses of water on the coffee table for my lady friends who slept over last night, my cat decided to drink out of both of them. She won’t drink out of her own bowl though which I still fill with fresh water in hopes she’ll drink it…

> Can’t move into boyfriend’s house mostly because of douchebag step dad who thinks all women are succubus/harlots. Secondly because his mother is allergic to cats and their house is pretty swanky and I wouldn’t want Dresden destroying anything.

> Can’t move out with a couple I’m friends with, it would be freaking perfect except for the small fact that one is extremely allergic to cats and the other has pet rats and Dresden would terrorise the shit out of them and that’s just plain cruel.

> I haven’t thought about it much further than this. Sigh.

Giving up Dresden is not an option, there’s absolutely no way I could do that. She was given away to me at 16 weeks old after her owner of 8 weeks moved house and couldn’t keep her, and I couldn’t do that to her again. :(

Figure I’d tell the story behind that (no there actually is one) since I’m sleepy and don’t have the energy to actually write anything half decent today.

One day I had just opened itunes on my laptop and hadn’t selected anything yet or even hit shuffle, when my cat Dresden jumped on the keyboard. Iron Man by Black Sabbath started playing and it was weird. Cameron and I then decided Dresden is Iron Cat.

Also she’s sleeping next to me right now and she just did that thing cats do when they stretch and then put their paws on their face. Dawwww
